Famous Points has a long history of promoting tourism in the Tamarindo, Costa Rica area. Beginning in 2007 we began by publishing the community printed Phone Book and Visitor's Guide which we still publish under the name Tamarindo Publishing. A quick look at our work and you'll immediately see our dedication to  quality advertising images and clear messages. 

The founder of Famous Points is Wayne Geddings. He is an expatriate from the USA who has lived in Costa Rica for over 12-years. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of what grew into one of the largest Resellers for AT&T Data Services. He managed the regional company from Denver, Colorado for over 20 years.

For community service Wayne serves as the community's Tripadvisor Official Destination Expert for Guanacaste and Tamarindo (Handle: "SurfspongerTamarindo") where he has given valuable advice to potential tourists for over 3-years, entering more than 1,500 forum posts.

Providing valuable administration and sales help is Victoria Alfaro. She is a native Costa Rican from the local area. Also, we strongly believe in giving back to the community and employ interns from local colleges who help us grow while they learn. 

Our road map consists of cautiously adding more clients and group commerce sites while keeping a tight focus on adding quality people and constantly becoming more efficient.
